The raccoons' mail bag

The raccoons got so popular for awhile at San Diego State, that we borrowed a button-maker from the sister of Andy "Windows for Dummies" Rathbone, back when he was still a copy editor at the paper, and started selling buttons with little raccoons sayings and other assorted weirdness:

Time to Drink ... Yep

 

We even had spinoffs; Archie Bunker led to Maude and The Jeffersons, we had the Rich Republican Pig:

Death to the Poor

 

We had plans ... big plans ... t-shirts, greeting cards, coffee mugs ... the whole Garfield routine ...
