Jim Trageser's vanity page
Being born with what Bogie might have called a face made for radio, you'd not think I'd be so keen to have my mug captured for posterity. But put a camera anywhere near me, and there I am, trying to get into the shot.
This is where I've stashed various photos of myself for the morbidly curious. If you have the Cosmo VRML plug-in for your browser, they display in a really cool variety of animated carousels. Otherwise, at each page you can click on the 2-D link and view them without the effect.
- In 1999, the kids and I visited my dad's old homestead back in Maryland and got together with many of our extended family. Tons of photos were taken, and sucked up major Internet bandwidth as scanned-in versions were e-mailed back and forth. I've been playing with a new program that lets you create virtual photo albums online check out our Trageser Family Golf Outing.
- A few months after that, Mickey Trageser of Eldersburg, Md., visited San Diego on business. The camera was again kept busy as we played the famous Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla (home of the annual Buick Open PGA tournament and an upcoming U.S. Open).
- Recently, I started organizing the shoeboxes of loose photos and came up with my own Photo History.
- I also have the Joy of Trageser a list of all the ways "Trageser" has been misspelled on my mail through the years.
