A nice change of pace

Not much in the way of a sleigh-bells vibe, Carlsbad's Alyssa Jacey's new holiday song takes a very contemporary folk approach musically – but the lyrics nestle fully in the Christmas season.
The song takes the form of a love letter to her family and friends, going through a list of wishes for her loved ones – and those wishes capture perfectly the spirit of Christmas. Those who grow weary of the same-old in Christmas music each year, yet still want to listen to something special for the season, may find this a comforting listen.
